Introduction to Spinal Health and Core Training

by gymfill_com

Muscle Imbalances Revealed has become one of the most sought-after, consistent, and revered fitness product lines. Each year, or thereabouts, Rick Kaselj—the creator—releases a new edition for the community. If I had to compare it to something, it’s like a franchise that keeps delivering newer, more advanced upgrades. But this isn’t about cars or films.

Last summer I travelled to Edmonton, Canada, to join Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper Body alumnus Rick Kaselj, Dean Somerset, and Dr. Jeff Cubos for a two-day seminar focused on a multi-disciplinary approach to core training and keeping spines bullet proof. We filmed the entire event in high definition and have finally made it available.

Spinal Health and Core Training Seminar

It was a great two days, with everyone involved—the presenters and the attendees—having the chance to learn from four highly skilled, smart professionals with diverse backgrounds. Rick has extensive experience working with a wide range of injured clients and is exceptional at assessment and designing programs around injury. Dean also brings deep knowledge of rehab and assessment, and he even set a personal deadlift PR that weekend. Dr. Jeff is a chiropractor and manual therapist with substantial experience working with elite athletes; his expertise in corrective exercise, posture, and breathing patterns is top-notch. And then there’s me.

To give a sense of the material, we included short previews of each presenter’s talk: my segment on assessment, Dean’s assessment segment, Dr. Jeff on self-mobilization drills, and Rick on writing programs around pain. This clip is from the finalized product in high definition.

There’s about twelve hours of content, including hands-on lectures, breathing patterns and how they affect core function and posture, exercise technique, and programming. There are no stone left unturned, and the material is useful for trainers and coaches looking to stay at the top of their game—and it’s also very accessible for general fitness enthusiasts.

I’m often asked what differentiates good trainers from the rest. The answer isn’t about style or gimmicks; it’s about valuing continuing education. Even learning one new thing from a DVD or book can pay for itself if it helps you gain a client.

We aimed to make this product accessible while staying profitable. Spinal Health and Core Training is on sale now (2/12) through Friday (2/15) for $97—a great deal considering the amount of information and the fact you’ll see old footage of me with hair. After this week, the price goes up to $197. So grab it while you can.
